FASTENER MANUFACTURER

Types of Threaded Fasteners Manufactured

INSCO is specialised in manufacturing various types of Threaded Fasteners. Threaded fasteners are basically screw type with internal threads and external threads. Nuts and bolts are the basic form of threaded fastener. Some of the threaded fasteners we manufacture are Stud-Bolts, Threaded Bars, Hex Bolts and Nuts, Foundation Bolts, Anchor Bolts and U-Bolts

  • Stud Bolts

The extremely threaded fasteners used for heavy industrial level fastening. Stud Bolts are headless, threaded at both ends and comes atleast 2 nuts.
  • Threaded Bars

Relatively long rods with threads at both ends
  • Hex Bolts & Nuts

Bolts with fixed Hex heads at one end and thread at other end
  • Foundation Bolts

Extra long, thicker and heavy threaded bars with equally heavy nuts
  • Anchor Bolts

Almost the same characteristics of Foundation bolt, but without nuts
  • U Bolts

U shaped bolts with threads and nuts at both ends

Fastener Manufacturing Process Sequence

Main Parts of the Fasteners

The main parts of the threaded fasteners are basically three, namely, Bolt, Nut and Washer. The Bolts are of two variations - fully threaded bolts and partially threaded bolts. Nuts comes in two variations - Nuts with inner threads and solid Nut heads and washers.

Design Specification of fasteners

The manufacturing process starts with the design and quality specification of the fastener parts.

Finite element analysis for fasteners

In order to withstand the adverse environmental and non-environmental conditions, structure analysis and thermal analysis is documented for each type of fasteners being manufactured.

Raw Material Selection for the manufacture of fasteners

To accomplish the quality standards and reliability of the products being manufactured, the selection of the raw materials play an important role. Read the detailed information on the Raw Materials.

Fastener Manufacturing Process

In the forging process, th bolt head and nut is applied with induction heating. Then the design measurements are mandated. Bendings and deformations are made. The material is annealed for uniformity and then machining steps are carried out.

Quality Assurance of the Fasteners Made

Various tests are carried out to maintain the quality and reliabity of the end-product. Testings: 1. Mechanical Testing , 2. PMI Testing and 3. Destructive Testing. In addition to the testing done by the manufacturer, a third party inspection is called for foolproof end-product.
